4 boys being brought out of the cave today

4 boys being brought out of the cave today July 8, 2018 Nina Suebsukcharoen THE first 4 young soccer players are today (July 8, 2018) being brought out the huge cave in northern Chiang Rai province where they have been trapped in since late last month by Thai Navy Seals and a team of divers, the Thai language daily Matichon reported. At 8 a.m. this morning at Tham Luang Khun Nam Nang Non Forest Park the Cave Command Post moved out the media and those not concerned with the rescue effort from the cave’s entrance. A total of 13 ambulances were brought in as well as vehicles for the relatives of the trapped soccer players and their coach with 4 helicopters being parked at a temporary car park next to Phahonyothin road, about 2 kilometers from the cave’s entrance. The Cave Command Post had invited the families of the trapped boys and their coach to a meeting last evening, with one of them saying that they were told they had to get all 13 of them out of the cave as quickly as possible, with this having started last night and expected to be completed this evening. It is feared that once heavy rains start, Mai Sai district, where this cave is located, would be flooded and this would raise the cave’s water level so high it would flood the area where the young soccer team and their coach are sheltering.
